AviTel VoIP Termination-Sip Trunking
AviTel can terminate calls to anywhere in the world in a cost-effective, high quality
service manner utilizing Voice over IP (VoIP) technology. We can customize solutions
based on your network configuration and can connect via VoIP Gateway thru the PBX
TDM connection, via SIP Trunk or H323 connection. We utilize Public and Private
Internet connections and can operate within a Cisco VPN.
In the traditional PBX scenario, AviTeI will program and install a gateway on the
customer’s premise. The gateway is connected to the internet on one side and PBX on
the other. The type of gateway needed depends upon whether analogue lines are
connected or all calls terminate via VoIP.
On an outbound call, the voice signal is transmitted from the customer’s PBX to the
gateway on the customer site. There the call is changed from a voice signal to a data
packet and sent across the internet to the AviTel Operation Centre gateways. The
gateways change the data packet back into a voice signal and push the call over the
PSTN to its destination.
AviTel can also provide full PBX functionality such as Automatic Call Distribution (ACD),
Interactive Voice Response (IVR), call queuing and scripting and a host of other
features. AVOXI also offers inbound toll-free services.
AviTel leads the industry with Quality of Service including emergency backup generators,
backup network sites and redundant PSTN carriers and ISPs. Our network engineers
proactively monitor the network to make sure call traffic is flowing smoothly and we
provide technical support 24 X 7.

Feature-Rich Local Phone Numbers
AviTel can establish your local phone numbers using voice over IP (VoIP) or the public
switched telephone network (PSTN) and configure them to ring to your PBX, landline
phone or mobile phone – anywhere in the world.
We also can provide advanced calling features such as time of day routing, call
redirect and failover routing.
The AviTel VoIP Gateway Solution is the preferred VoIP solution for larger customers
with existing PBX and phone systems. The solution consists of running Voice over IP
through a Cisco IAD (Integrated Access Device) which is installed on your premise
between your router and PBX. It allows you to retain your present PBX and phone
configurations.
You must have dedicated internet bandwidth (DSL or cable modem) from a local ISP and
a public IP address that you can assign to the IAD.
The IAD converts voice signals into data packets and vice versa. The IAD solution is
scalable and can grow with your business. IADs can be daisy chained together to
accommodate an increased number of phone lines.
Like all of AviTel services, the quality for the IAD solution is outstanding and multiple
redundancies in our network ensure that our service is reliable. We back this with 24 X 7
customer support and provide all of our customers with password protected access to a
secure web interface where they can see all of their CDRs (Call Detail Records).
